Our client has secured a significant programme of work across the water sector to support the AMP8 investment cycle, following appointment as a key delivery partner on a major long-term framework with United Utilities. The programme will deliver £5.5bn of investment between 2025-2030 (AMP8) and 2030-2035 (AMP9), covering a wide range of water and wastewater infrastructure schemes across the North West and Cumbria. Projects will vary in size and complexity, spanning both infrastructure and non-infrastructure assets across water and wastewater sites, delivered collaboratively alongside wider framework partners.
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead site operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget. This is a site-based role in Windermere, ideal for an experienced construction professional with a strong background in civil engineering and utilities, preferably within the wastewater sector.
The Role
As Construction Manager, you will take ownership of site construction activities, providing leadership across all operational aspects of delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring works are executed safely and in line with programme requirements, specifications and quality standards.
