Location: Gloucestershire
Contract: 12-month initial (highly likely long-term / temp-to-perm)
Pay Rates: Circa Umbrella: £30.00 ph // Circa PAYE: £22.00 ph + £3.20 hp (£25.20 total)
Hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 8am–5pm
- Friday: 8am–2:30pm
- 40 hours per week with overtime: Paid at enhanced rate

As a Composite Fitter, your role is crucial in ensuring that composite components are accurately manufactured. You will be responsible for trimming, fitting, and assembling composite components to the highest standards, working in alignment with industry specifications and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Previous experience in trimming, fitting, assembly, and installation of composite parts in motorsport and aerospace systems.
- Use hand and power tools to trim, shape, and adjust composite components as required.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to troubleshoot and resolve fitting issues.
- Maintain detailed records of fitting procedures and any adjustments made.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Proven experience as a Composite Fitter/Trimmer in the motorsport, aerospace, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of composite materials and their properties.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for precision fitting and trimming.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work with high precision in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices for composite fitting.
- Willingness to adapt to new techniques and technologies in the field.
