We’re looking for a skilled CompEx Electrician to join our client’s MEICA and Capital Maintenance team at M Group. You’ll be working alongside our client’s ATEX and Electrical Services Teams, predominately within the water industry, but also in the Energy and Manufacturing industries.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Carrying out a range of electrical installations and maintenance projects in hazardous areas, all in accordance with BS7671: 18th Edition and BS60079, whilst ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Working alongside our established team of experts, which means you will receive a wide range of industry help and support.
What you’ll bring:
- You’ll have previous experience of ATEX zones and hazardous areas.
- You’ll have working knowledge of a wide range of Ex protection concepts, including but not limited to: Ex d – flameproof, Ex e - Increased Safety and Ex i - Intrinsic Safety.
- You’ll have CompEx Ex01 – Ex04 (Gas & Vapours).
- You’ll have completed an NVQ Level 3 (Maintenance or Installation).
- You’ll have also completed 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regs and City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection and Testing.
- You’ll have industrial experience.
- Preferably, you’ll also have CompEx Ex05 – Ex06 (Dust), PASMA, IPAF, IOSH and CCNSG.
