Our client, a leading Investment Management firm, is looking for a hands-on SQL Server Developer to join a highly technical in-house data team. This role is SQL-first and suited to someone who enjoys working day-to-day with complex SQL Server environments - designing, tuning and troubleshooting data solutions in a financial services context.
Key responsibilities
- Developing and optimising complex SQL Server solutions (T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, performance tuning)
- Working with large, business-critical datasets
- Supporting and enhancing ETL and batch processes
- Investigating and resolving performance and data issues in production
- Collaborating closely with analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust SQL solutions
Essential experience
- Strong, hands-on SQL Server development experience
