We are seeking an IP Governance & Delivery Manager to support a major UK infrastructure programme operating within a highly regulated environment. This role is fundamentally about enabling delivery while maintaining compliance, ensuring that licensed engineering and technical data is used appropriately, securely, and in line with contractual obligations. The programme makes use of design and engineering data originally developed for a related project. As a separate legal entity, clear governance is required to control how this data is accessed, shared, modified, and transferred. This role is suited to a senior project or service manager with strong regulatory awareness and experience operating in complex delivery environments. You must be comfortable owning governance, making decisions, and working across disciplines. You will act as the single point of accountability for IP governance, translating contractual requirements into practical, workable processes that support engineering delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain governance frameworks for licensed engineering and technical data
  • Embed operational control, ensuring IP processes are documented, understood, and followed
  • Act as the primary interface for IP-related queries, managing risk and escalating where required
  • Balance contractual compliance with delivery needs, enabling teams to work effectively
  • Coordinate across Engineering, Legal, IT, and Supply Chain to resolve issues pragmatically
  • Represent governance interests in audits, assurance activities, and programme forums
  • Drive continuous improvement of tools, workflows, and service models
  • Enable secure, traceable data exchange between related programmes and third parties

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Experience working in the nuclear sector or a similarly regulated UK environment
  • Strong project or service management background, with evidence of process improvement
  • Experience operating within governance, assurance, risk, or regulated delivery frameworks
  • Ability to interpret and apply contractual requirements in a practical, delivery-focused way
  • Excellent stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams
  • Confident decision-making in complex or ambiguous situations
  • Clear and effective communication skills

Desirable

  • Experience managing technical data, configuration, or compliance portfolios
  • Familiarity with PLM or information management systems (e.g. Teamcenter)
  • Understanding of UK nuclear regulatory or ONR frameworks
  • Formal project management training or equivalent experience

Why Join

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a critical governance function within a nationally significant infrastructure programme. You will operate at the heart of delivery, influencing how engineering data is controlled and shared, while ensuring compliance in a highly regulated environment.
