Security Requirements
Active DV clearance is highly desirable. Active SC clearance will also be considered, provided you're eligible and willing to undergo DV clearance. Sole British nationality is essential due to UK Eyes Only (UKEO) programme restrictions.
We are supporting a major defence programme and are looking for an experienced Integration Engineer to join an established engineering team delivering secure Windows-based platforms within a highly secure environment. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on integrating, configuring and deploying physical and virtual infrastructure, supporting the delivery of mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Build and configure Windows Server and Windows 11 environments.
- Integrate and configure COTS and bespoke software solutions.
- Produce technical documentation, including build guides and implementation documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within integrated production environments.
- Support system integration, testing, deployment and customer acceptance activities.
- Configure and deploy physical and virtual infrastructure.
- Support occasional customer site deployments and investigations.
Essential Skills
- Strong experience with Windows Server.
- Active Directory and Group Policy administration.
- PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Experience integrating Windows-based infrastructure and software.
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Experience producing technical documentation.
- Ability to work effectively within collaborative engineering teams.
Desirable Skills
- VMware Windows deployment and imaging.
- Red Hat Linux.
- SCCM / SCOM.
- SharePoint administration.
- Automated testing.
- Experience working with COTS and bespoke software.
