A professionally registered engineer, possessing a recognised Level 6 qualification (Bachelor's Degree with Honours) in an engineering discipline relevant to the role. Proven leadership ability, focused on creating a collaborative working and learning environment, ensuring NIS values (Respect, Protect, Commit and Inspire) and nuclear safety culture is positively role modelled and upheld.

Successful delivery of the engineering content of assigned projects from bid through to project execution and close out, ensuring effective delivery and realisation of best achievable profit and schedule completion.

Actively lead and manage multidiscipline engineering teams, providing technical direction and guidance in the execution of engineering delivery strategies, undertaking assurance activities to ensure a compliant and safe design and achievement of quality standards.

Support the operations of the engineering portfolio and identify continuous improvement opportunities through the robust challenge of processes and procedures to achieve Excellence in Engineering.
