The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Site / Senior Agent to lead the successful delivery of highways and bridge structure projects across the National Highways Area 10 framework. Working on schemes valued at up to £5 million, you will take ownership of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with Project Managers, commercial teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to drive progress while maintaining exceptional standards of health, safety, environmental compliance, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage highways and bridge structure projects from site.
- Manage subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme.
- Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation measures.
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers and commercial teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and the wider project team.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience managing highways and bridge structure projects.
- Previous experience delivering projects valued up to £5 million.
- Strong leadership and site management experience.
- Excellent subcontractor management and coordination skills.
- Sound understanding of planning, programming, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working within National Highways frameworks.
- Ability to work permanent night shifts.

- CSCS Black or White Card
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
