About the Role Due to continued growth, our client is seeking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer to join their UK design team. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering the civil design elements of water industry projects as part of a multidisciplinary design team. The role will involve leading projects or discrete packages of work, providing technical direction and supervision to junior and less experienced engineers, and contributing to the successful delivery of schemes from concept through to completion. Flexible hybrid working, combining office and remote working. Lead projects or discrete packages of work, ensuring delivery to programme, budget and required technical standards. Support the professional development of project team members through mentoring and ongoing technical input. Assist with the preparation, management and monitoring of project budgets, including resource planning, financial tracking and reporting. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary design team to develop effective and practical engineering solutions. Ensure compliance with the company's Integrated Management System, including Health & Safety, Environmental and all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements. Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to successful project delivery from concept through to completion. Skills & Experience Required Strong technical background in the design of water and wastewater non-infrastructure works . Candidates from relevant related disciplines and engineering backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with working knowledge of engineering software such as AutoCAD . Strong project delivery skills, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and achieving high-quality outcomes. Strong focus on Health & Safety, embedding best practice into all aspects of engineering design and project delivery.
