Morson Edge are currently recruiting for an Electrical Production Engineer to be based near Shaftsbury. An electrical production engineer develops, maintains, and optimizes electrical manufacturing systems, ensuring production lines operate efficiently. They troubleshoot machinery, implement, and support the manufacturing of electrical components and products, combining technical design knowledge with practical, hands-on maintenance and production support within industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Improvement: Developing and implementing improvements to manufacturing systems to boost productivity, efficiency, and profits.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnosing faults and performing maintenance on electrical production equipment to minimize downtime.
- Technical Support: Providing hands-on assistance to production teams regarding electrical, hydraulic, or electronic systems.
- New Product Introduction: Supporting the industrialization of new products and adapting production lines to meet specifications.
- Quality & Safety: Implementing safety protocols, conducting electrical testing, and ensuring product quality.
