Morson Edge is delighted to be partnering with a large, multi-site organisation to find an experienced HR Business Partner to play a key role in delivering high-quality, customer-focused HR operations across the business. This is a hands-on, operational HR role requiring strong stakeholder management skills, sound employment law knowledge, and the confidence to lead on complex employee relations and organisational change.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HR partner to leaders, providing pragmatic guidance that supports business and people objectives.
- Build strong relationships across the organisation to influence effective people management and decision-making.
- Lead on complex employee relations matters, providing expert advice and acting as an escalation point when needed.
- Develop and support HR colleagues and managers to ensure consistent, compliant and high-quality HR practice.
- Support and advise on organisational change, ensuring people risks are well managed and legal requirements met.
- Drive engagement, wellbeing and attendance initiatives, working with internal stakeholders and external providers.
- Contribute to wider people programmes including talent, capability, succession and inclusion.
- Use HR data and insight to inform decisions, support projects and contribute to the delivery of the overall people strategy.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Proven experience delivering a high-quality HR operational or business partnering service.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Solid working knowledge of UK employment legislation and its practical application.
- Experience managing employee relations and working constructively with trade unions or employee representatives.
- Demonstrable experience supporting organisational change programmes (e.g. restructures, redundancy, TUPE).
- Experience operating across multi-site or complex environments.
- Previous people management experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data to drive business decisions.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Confident user of HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
