Morson Talent is recruiting for multiple skilled Leather Technicians to join our client, a specialist design, engineering and manufacturing business delivering luxury interior solutions for some of the world's most prestigious automotive brands, including Aston Martin, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG, Pininfarina and Gordon Murray Automotive. This is an exciting opportunity to work on ultra-premium, low-volume vehicle programmes where craftsmanship, attention to detail and quality are at the heart of everything you do.
The Role
Working from their site based in Witham, you will be responsible for producing and finishing high-quality leather components for luxury automotive interiors, ensuring all products meet demanding customer specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure products meet design specifications, tolerances and customer quality requirements
- Work to exceptional standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Perform rework and repairs on defective items where required
- Read and interpret patterns, drawings and work instructions
- Collaborate with other technicians to achieve the required product finish
- Maintain a flexible approach to changing production requirements
- Adhere to workplace health and safety standards at all times
- Support continuous delivery of high-quality luxury interior components
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Experience within an automotive leather, trim or upholstery environment
- Strong leather handling and finishing skills
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, patterns and work orders
- Good organisational and time management skills
- A proactive, positive and flexible attitude
- Understanding of workplace safety requirements
