Material Inventory Controller
£22.58 per hour Umbrella / £17.07 PAYE | RAF Brize Norton | Aerospace Logistics

Morson Edge are recruiting for a Material Inventory Controller to support aircraft maintenance and flying programmes at RAF Brize Norton.
This opportunity would suit experienced Material Controllers, Inventory Controllers, Stores Operatives, Warehouse Operatives, Logistics Coordinators, Supply Chain Assistants or Material Support Specialists with experience in stock control, material handling or Aerospace logistics.
Working as part of the Logistics and Warehouse team, you'll be responsible for managing material requirements, ensuring aircraft parts are received, processed, stored and dispatched accurately and in line with operational and airworthiness requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing material orders, movements and warehouse transactions
- Receiving, unloading and handling aircraft components
- Picking, packing and preparing materials for dispatch
- Updating physical stock movements and transactions within SAP
- Ensuring paperwork and documentation are accurate and correctly linked to parts
- Maintaining stock locations and carrying out inventory checks
- Supporting inbound, outbound and repair warehouse activities
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
You'll need previous experience in Material Support, Inventory Control, Supply Chain, Stores or Warehouse Operations, alongside good IT skills and experience using warehouse management systems such as SAP, and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of EASA Part 145 regulations is essential, together with good written and spoken English, strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Candidates must be flexible to work different shift patterns, including nights. Forklift or reach truck experience would be advantageous.
