The predicted salary is between 55000 - 65000 £ per year.
Our client has recently been awarded several new Frameworks and with existing volume of works increasing on current frameworks, they are seeking to increase the size of their Estimating team with both Estimators and Senior Estimators.
Our client works across various sectors, including rail, aviation, local authority, and highways, and is ideally seeking individuals that have a proven background of working on bids within these industries.
Current project portfolio includes:
- Highways & Roads
- Lineside Civils, Cabling, Trough Routes & Telecoms
Responsibilities include:
- Liaison with the Supply Chain team in respect of placing supplier/subcontractor enquiries
- Technical and commercial appraisal of construction labour, plant, materials, and temporary works
- Effective analysis and pricing of risks
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Senior Estimator in multi-disciplinary civil engineering sectors such as rail, highways, aviation, and/or utilities and power
- Civil engineering project experience
- Experience as a Senior Estimator in a civil engineering contractor organisation
- Working knowledge of Excel and Word, and estimating software
