The Role The Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day supervision, coordination, and performance of a team of technicians delivering corrective maintenance on a modern fleet of trains. The role ensures that all maintenance activities are effectively planned, prioritised, and delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with railway industry, site, and company standards. The Team Leader provides technical leadership, supports fault diagnosis and root cause analysis, and ensures high standards of workmanship across all activities. In addition, the role is accountable for team performance management, maintaining accurate maintenance records, ensuring compliance with safety and operational requirements, and promoting a strong culture of continuous improvement within the depot. This is a safety-critical role requiring strong leadership capability, technical expertise, and the ability to manage priorities within a dynamic operational environment. Requirements - Level 3 engineering qualification or higher.
