Anderselite is working in partnership with an established and growing architectural studio based in Cardiff, known for delivering innovative, people-focused design solutions across a wide variety of sectors throughout the UK. We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Project Architect to join their collaborative team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects from concept through to completion and contribute meaningfully to thoughtful, community-driven architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural design across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Manage all stages of the RIBA plan of work, from concept and feasibility through technical design and delivery.
- Prepare design proposals, drawings, and 3D models for client presentations and approvals.
- Oversee the production of technical documentation for planning, tender, and construction phases.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure project vision is achieved.
- Conduct regular site visits and monitor progress to ensure quality and compliance.
- Support and mentor junior staff, fostering a creative and collaborative team culture.
What We’re Looking For:
- RIBA Part 3 qualified with a strong portfolio of built projects.
- At least 5 years’ professional experience, ideally with UK project delivery background.
- Excellent technical knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methods.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing abilities.
- Passionate about design and committed to delivering meaningful, high-quality architecture.
