Job Description
Overview: We are seeking an experienced Loading Shovel Operator for work on our scheme at the Black Cat Project, St Neots. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating the loading shovel to support ongoing mixing plant production and site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate the loading shovel safely and efficiently around the busy mixing plantLoad and move aggregates and materials as requiredFeed the mixing plant and maintain a consistent supply of materialsCarry out daily plant checks and report any maintenance or safety issuesAssist with general duties around the mixing plant, including cleaning the mixerWork closely with site supervisors and other plant operatives to maintain efficient productionRequirements: Previous experience working around a busy mixing plantLoading Shovel License (CPCS or equivalent)MP Connect Card (Can be sourced)Working Hours: Monday to Friday07:00-17:00 dailyDuration: Potentially ongoing work from now through to May 2027TPBN1_UKTJ
