Morson Edge are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Avionic Fitter to support ongoing maintenance, modification, and repair activities on the C130 aircraft platform. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to large-scale, high-profile defence projects in collaboration with key industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance, modifications, and repairs to aircraft electrical and avionic systems in accordance with work card instructions and controlled technical documentation.
- Ensure all tasks meet the required quality standards and are completed within the designated timescales.
- Actively support and promote continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Completion of a recognised Approved Aeronautical Engineering Apprenticeship (Electrical/Avionic) or a relevant higher education qualification.
- Demonstrated experience within an aircraft maintenance environment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across all site functions.
- A proactive, flexible attitude with a commitment to achieving business targets and continuous improvement.
- High attention to detail and self-motivated work ethic.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English.
- Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and a basic understanding of COSHH requirements.
- C130 aircraft experience is preferred.
