Tool Cleaning Operative - Aerospace Manufacturing Safran Nacelles, Burnley £16.99 per hour + 26% shift uplift 37 hours per week | Full-Time Rolling Contract Immediate Start Available Safran Nacelles is currently seeking a Tool Cleaner to join its Composites team in Burnley. Working within a leading aerospace manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in ensuring production tooling is maintained to the highest standards, supporting ongoing manufacturing operations and quality requirements. Working Hours This position operates on a backshift pattern: Monday to Thursday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Friday: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM 37 hours per week The Role As a Tool Cleaner, you will be responsible for the cleaning, preparation and maintenance of production tooling used within the composites manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities Cleaning and maintaining manufacturing tools and equipment. Removing residue and contamination from tooling to production standards. Conducting visual inspections to ensure tools are serviceable and ready for use. Following health, safety and quality procedures at all times. Supporting production requirements and maintaining a clean, organised work area. Working effectively as part of the composites production team. What We're Looking For Previous experience within manufacturing, production, engineering, aerospace, automotive or industrial environments is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Ability to follow procedures and work safely. Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
