Building Services Engineer Location: Warrington, Manchester or Derby - Hybrid working available Contract: 3–6 Months IR35 Status: Inside IR35 Building Services Engineer – Contract Opportunity We are currently seeking an experienced Building Services Engineer to join our client on an initial 3–6 month contract . This is an exciting opportunity to support a complex and technically challenging engineering programme, contributing to the development and optimisation of building services layouts within a highly regulated environment. Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will provide specialist expertise in building services integration, HVAC systems, pipework routing, installation methodologies, and modularisation strategies. The role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with just one day per week required in the office from either Warrington, Manchester or Derby. Key Responsibilities Engineering Expertise Provide expert technical guidance and direction in the design, assessment, and optimisation of building services layouts. Apply specialist knowledge of services pipework, HVAC routing, installation methodologies, and modularisation techniques to support the evolving design. Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle through technical reviews and contributions to key design review stages. Manage requirements effectively, documenting design assumptions, risks, and technical decisions to support programme delivery.
