The predicted salary is between 39 - 50 £ per hour.
6 Month Contract (initially) Up to £50 per hour umbrella (Inside IR35) Circa 4 days per week on site (could be some flex on this week to week)
Job Role:
You will work closely with other functional teams, to develop products to meet our customer's needs. Within this role you will have the opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to perform a range of engineering activities including progressing developmental designs into production environments and working with suppliers on technical queries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out Mechanical Design and proving activities as part of a wider team for prime and variant products, of both piece parts and assemblies.
- Support/liaise with manufacturing, resolving manufacturing problems & defects.
- Support to functional & environmental testing and trials.
- Liaise with suppliers/purchasing to resolve any technical queries that may arise.
- Planning and reporting on own day-to-day activities to meet project milestones.
- Gain clarification of and help to generate requirements, including challenging of extraneous requirements to reduce lead time, UPC and design complexity.
