The predicted salary is between 35 - 47 £ per hour.

Morson is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading aerospace organisation to recruit a Configuration Change Manager for an initial contract until the end of May 2027. There is a pay rate of £35.71 Per Hour PAYE OR £47.76 Per Hour Umbrella on offer for the successful candidate. There would be a hybrid working arrangement in place with 3 days a week spent on site in Filton and 2 days a week working from home.

Please find the role description below:

  • Manage Full Change Process – Standard mods and Customisation Mods
  • Ensure governance as per A2843.3 and supporting processes
  • Compile Agenda's, Chair Meetings and prepare MOM
  • Ensure consistency of inputs TRS/ERS/PRS to support Business case, Time, Cost and Quality
  • Support Industrialisation process and ensure Mod Batching Policy is applied where applicable
  • Ensure deliverables for TNDG3 and Mod Opening, Budget agreed and POE agreed
  • Ensure correct Cluster are selected post mod opening
  • Update of ICC parameter's in-line with steps of the change process
  • Update of Detailed Data tab and ensure relevant documents are attached TRA etc
  • Use CA is your Friend and Involvement Check to ensure quality of data
  • Ensure FIC Level 4 data is available at time of mod opening
  • Apply Golden Rules for Transnational Modifications
  • ACC2 Tool Management
  • Daily screening of ACC2 Telexes and writing a response when required
  • Support correct steering of ACC2 telexes before submission to tool
  • Writing ACC2 Telexes in-line with program and configuration requirements
  • Ensure follow-up of ACC2 telexes to ensure correctness in the tool
  • Apply Golden Rules for Telex management
  • MPM Management
  • After TNDG3 submit MP/TRS and ERS to MPM and distribute to workflow ensuring involvements are correct
  • Follow-up workflow to ensure Mod opening target date is met
  • Co-ordinate and answer any Specific Requests (SR) coming from the workflow
  • Post mod opening ensure correct POE is displayed in ACC2
  • Support and Manage Incremental Development (ID) for the A320 Family
  • Support and provide CM inputs for GRAMS process
  • Produce mod breakdowns to support certification process
  • Run CM co-ordinations meeting when applicable, produce MOM and follow-up actions
  • Support drumbeat meetings and provide CM steering
  • Adapt CM processes to meet the milestones of the program
  • Create specific cluster for variants to drumbeat closure process
  • Give regular updates to BSMCM teams either by mail or at Team Meetings or GMC
  • Update CADB and create new CA's when applicable
  • Support of Major Projects and MAMO's for the A320 Family
  • CM Focal Point to support and provide CM inputs for LBIP process
  • Produce mod breakdowns to support certification process
  • Run CM co-ordinations meeting when applicable, produce MOM and follow-up actions
  • Support drumbeat meetings and provide CM steering
  • Give regular updates to BSMCM teams either by mail or at Team Meetings or GMC
  • Mod Closure Activity
  • Ensure all engineering activities are performed on time in-line with ICC Cluster target date
  • Ensure when a modification is multi-FIC and you are the lead all other FIC's inputs are done before final closure again in-line with ICC Cluster date
  • For SB Modifications ensure engineering are complete to allow Stage 3A for SB compilation and release
  • CM Process Support – EZC
  • Support EZC CM process updates act as focal points and attend regular reviews
  • Provide feedback and updates to any new or updated processes and provide final validation to allow signature from Head Office BSMC
  • CA Re-allocation Process
  • Apply process A5140 check compatibility of CA to swap
  • Ensure consistency of mod data for Conformity and attestation
  • Check colour definition between changes of customers
  • Management of Specific Tools and Process
  • iAMT tool – produce and create live mod trees with laws to support mod applicability process
  • iAMT Tool - Provide and update any anomalies in ACC2
  • Mod Impact Form Process – Post DG2 send MIF's to suppliers based on product structure using SPADE tool
  • Mod Impact Form Process – Attach relevant MIF's responses in ICC to support POE calculation
  • Support of Final Assembly Lines (FAL's)
  • Provide support to FAL's regarding mod closure, late validity changes, conformity and attestation queries
  • Support FAL major milestones like FOT and ID when applicable
  • Ensure no delays are CM related
  • BSMCM Support
  • Support CM Optimisation projects and initiatives
  • Ensure cross immersion of current and new employees
  • Outputs
  • ACC2 Tool – The job holder(s) provide accurate and succinct data to support aircraft definition to meet customer requirements and our contractual obligations
  • Change Process – The job holder(s) ensures that the relevant information and data is available in the tool that allows traceability and audits
  • Incremental Development – The job holder(s) will produce mod breakdown structures based on OBS/WBS and Project TLR
  • Mod Closure Process – The job holder(s) will drumbeat the closure process (Stage 0 and Stage 3) ensuring mods are closed on time to support certification of mods either before major project milestones or to allow H/O or Aircraft Delivery
