Morson Edge are working with a tier 1 contractor who are seeking a Section Engineer to join their Civil Engineering and Infrastructure division.

- Location - Suffolk
- Salary - £45k to £50k + car/car allowance
This is a site based role. Attendance required for morning briefings from 7.15am. This is not a hybrid or home working position.
About the Project
This role supports one of the UKs largest electricity infrastructure programmes, the Norwich to Tilbury Great Grid Partnership.
Works include
- 70km overhead transmission line upgrades
- New access roads
- Major earthworks packages
- Piling and foundation construction
- New substation construction at Tilbury
- Upgrades to Norwich and Bramford substations
Duties
Support the safe and successful delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure works.
Undertake setting out and engineering control duties across multiple work fronts.
Coordinate site engineering activities and provide technical support to construction teams.
Ensure quality assurance processes, inspections and records are maintained in accordance with project requirements.
Produce and manage engineering documentation, reports and digital records.
