Inventory Controller
Location: Stokesley Pay: £13.75-£14.25 per hour after probation Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:00am-3:00pm
Friday 7:00am-11:00am Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Inventory Controller to join a busy manufacturing and logistics team in Stokesley. This is a dayshift, temp-to-permanent opportunity, with the potential to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks for the right candidate.
You will play a key role in maintaining accurate stock levels and ensuring the production team has the right materials, parts and vehicles available at the right place and the right time.
Key Responsibilities: Receive, check and correctly book incoming stock and vehicles. Put stock away accurately and maintain inventory records. Pick and kit materials for production to meet scheduled requirements. Ensure completed kits and picked parts are correctly booked off. Manage stock returning from subcontract processes such as galvanising and painting. Keep production areas supplied with kitted and bulk materials. Carry out daily and quarterly cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy. Manage FIFO processes and minimise obsolete stock. Pick and package aftersales parts orders for collection. Maintain high standards of 6S (5S + Safety). About You
The ideal candidate will have previous inventory control or warehouse experience, preferably within an automotive or manufacturing environment.
You should be computer literate with experience using inventory management systems and hold a valid forklift licence.
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and safety-conscious, with excellent attention to detail and a strong team-focused approach. You should also be physically fit and comfortable working in a busy production environment.
