Welder Fabricator Location: Stokesley Pay: £17.60-£18.10 per hour after probation Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:00am-3:00pm
Friday 7:00am-11:00am Job Type: Full-time,Temp to Perm We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a busy manufacturing team in Stokesley. This is a dayshift,temp-to-permanent opportunity, with the chance to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks for the right candidate. You will be responsible for welding and fabricating bespoke truck bodies from pre-cut materials,working from technical drawings and ensuring all work is completed safely,accurately and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
MIG welding and fabrication of truck bodies. Working from technical drawings and specifications. Using hand and power tools safely and effectively. Carrying out quality checks on your own work. Meeting production targets and deadlines. Identifying and resolving minor fabrication issues. Maintaining a clean,safe and organised workspace. Following company health & safety and 5S procedures. Working effectively as part of a team.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in welding and fabrication, ideally within a manufacturing environment. You should be confident reading technical drawings,using fabrication tools and producing quality welds. Reliability,good attention to detail and a strong work ethic are essential. An apprenticeship or relevant welding/fabrication qualification would be advantageous,but solid hands-on experience will also be considered.
