Salary Bandings: Principal: £50,000 – £60,000 Associate Director: £60,000 – £70,000 + £5,000 car allowance

THE OPPORTUNITY
We are partnering with a nationally recognised, multi-disciplinary consultancy to recruit several Principal and Associate Director Landscape Architects with a strong planning and assessment focus. With offices across the UK and Ireland, the practice is delivering a diverse pipeline of projects ranging from local development schemes to Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs). This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, collaborative team delivering landscape-led solutions on complex and high-profile schemes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and support landscape planning projects, including LVIA, TVIA and Environmental Impact Assessments
- Undertake site surveys and field analysis to inform robust technical assessments
- Produce high-quality reports and supporting technical documentation
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and key stakeholders
- Mentor and support junior team members, encouraging technical excellence
- Manage project budgets, programmes and deliverables
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve environmental, social and design outcomes
- Associate Director roles will also contribute to business development, bids and tenders
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Strong experience in landscape planning with a focus on LVIA / TVIA
- Excellent understanding of the UK planning system
- Strong report-writing and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
- GIS, Revit and ProjectWise advantageous
- Full UK driving licence essential for site-based work
- UK project experience required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Chartered Landscape Architect (CMLI)
- Landscape Institute–accredited Bachelor's, Diploma or Master's degree
