Location: Bradley Workshop, Bradley Lane, Bilston, WV14 8DW (site-based, 5 days per week)

Salary: £29,354 per annum equivalent

Role Overview

As a Workshop Craft Operative, the successful candidate will support the manufacture and supply of complete lock gates and lock gate components for use across the Trust's network, ensuring work is completed safely and in line with the required heritage standards.

Essential Experience/Qualifications

Given the short-term nature of the assignment, we're looking for someone who can provide immediate support and work with minimal supervision in a workshop environment. Key requirements are:

  • Oxy-gas cutting experience
  • Abrasive wheel certification/training
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Fabrication, and/or
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Welding
  • Forklift Counterbalance Licence (desirable, not essential)
