We are partnering with our client to recruit an experienced Senior Programme Manager to oversee the delivery of a major rooftop solar PV programme across the Midlands region. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a renewable energy professional with strong programme management experience and a track record of delivering complex infrastructure or energy projects.
Location: Based anywhere within the Midlands region. Hybrid working available. Regular meetings in West Birmingham. Occasional site visits required.
Contract Details: 12-month initial contract. Inside IR35. Strong potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of multiple rooftop solar PV projects across the programme.
- Ensure programme delivery aligns with strategic business objectives.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance.
- Prepare monthly updates and presentations for Steering Committee meetings.
- Lead stakeholder engagement across clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Oversee programme risks, governance, and reporting.
- Manage and mentor project managers and coordinators.
- Drive continuous improvement and programme optimisation.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Extensive programme or project management experience within renewable energy.
- Strong solar PV delivery experience preferred.
- Experience managing complex programmes with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Financial management and reporting experience.
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related discipline preferred.
