We are partnering with our client to recruit an experienced Senior Programme Manager to oversee the delivery of a major rooftop solar PV programme across the Midlands region. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a renewable energy professional with strong programme management experience and a track record of delivering complex infrastructure or energy projects.
Location: Based anywhere within the Midlands region
Hybrid working available
Regular meetings in West Birmingham
Occasional site visits required

12-month initial contract

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of multiple rooftop solar PV projects across the programme
- Ensure programme delivery aligns with strategic business objectives
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance
- Prepare monthly updates and presentations for Steering Committee meetings
- Lead stakeholder engagement across clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Oversee programme risks, governance, and reporting
- Manage and mentor project managers and coordinators
- Drive continuous improvement and programme optimisation
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
Requirements:
- Extensive programme or project management experience within renewable energy
- Strong solar PV delivery experience preferred
- Experience managing complex programmes with multiple stakeholders
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Financial management and reporting experience
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related discipline preferred
