We are partnering with our client to recruit an experienced Rooftop Solar Project Manager to support the successful delivery of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects across the Midlands region. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing renewable energy programme focused on delivering sustainable infrastructure projects across multiple sites.
Location: Based anywhere within the Midlands region
Hybrid working available
Regular meetings in West Birmingham
Occasional site visits required

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage rooftop solar PV projects from planning through to delivery
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate with engineering teams, installers, suppliers, and site teams
- Manage grid connection applications and utility approvals
- Oversee logistics, procurement, and installation scheduling
- Ensure projects comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Produce project reports and stakeholder updates
- Support stakeholder engagement across clients, contractors, and local authorities
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing solar PV or renewable energy projects
- Strong understanding of project delivery and stakeholder management
- Experience with grid connection processes and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline preferred
