We are currently recruiting on behalf of a tier one contractor for a Cost Analyst in Birmingham. This is a permanent position offering £32k plus benefits, working on light rail schemes across the Midlands.
The Role
The Finance department is responsible for undertaking the financial activities for the Midland Metro Alliance. This role is to support the Senior Commercial Manager to provide accurate data on the progress and performance of the various projects undertaken by the MMA.
About You
- Educated to degree standard or equivalent professional qualification in related subject
- Experience of working within a project environment
- Awareness of industry issues
- Able to assist in management of commercial finance
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
- An interest in commercial finance and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
