Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter looking for a new opportunity in a hands-on, fast-paced industrial environment?
We are expanding our team across the North West to support our ashplant operations and are looking for skilled Mechanical Fitters to join our growing workforce.
About the Role
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and installation of mechanical systems and components within ashplant facilities.
Working both independently and as part of a team, you will help ensure plant and equipment operates safely, efficiently and reliably.
Location- Warrington,WA3 7PG
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance.
Repair, maintain and install mechanical plant and equipment.
Identify faults and carry out effective repairs.
Undertake welding and fabrication work as required.
Work safely and in accordance with site procedures and company standards.
Support the reliable operation of ashplant equipment.
Work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
What Were Looking For
Mechanical NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience in heavy industrial, engineering or plant maintenance environments.
Welding experience essential - MIG, TIG and/or Stick.
Good mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including days and nights when required.
Strong commitment to health & safety.
Full UK driving licence. xgikmsk
Reliable, practical and able to work effectively in a hands-on environment.
