Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to join its established Transactional Finance team. Working within a fast-paced finance function, you will take ownership of the end-to-end purchase ledger process, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and payments are made on time. Alongside day-to-day ledger responsibilities, you will support process improvements, month-end activities and act as a senior point of contact for supplier and internal finance queries. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger professional looking to join a well-established business offering long-term career development.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and investigate any invoice or payment discrepancies.
  • Prepare and process weekly BACS payment runs.
