Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client, a world leading global aerospace manufacturing organisation in Belfast as a MRP Supply Chain Agent. The role will be responsible for the planning and management of all transactional elements of parts supply including internal and external customers to ensure that the master schedule is achieved, maintained, and utilised assets optimised. Suitable candidates MUST have firsthand experience and knowledge of MRP Planning Systems to be considered.
Rate(s): standard pays GBP29.00 per hour umbrella or GBP21.68 per hour PAYE. Entitled to paid overtime over 35 hours at a premium rate - 25% Mon-Fri and 50% Sat-Sun. GBP27.10 for any O/time Mon-Friday or GBP32.52 for any O/time Sat-Sun (PAYE). GBP36.25 for any O/Time Mon-Fri or GBP43.50 for any O/Time Sat-Sun (Umbrella).
Duration: 10 months initially.
Hours: Working 36 hours per week, Mon - Thurs 8.15am - 4.45pm & Fri 8am-12pm (start / stop times may vary slightly).
Responsibilities:
- The accurate & timely reporting and governance of supply chain data to the Operations team.
- Communication of Parts Supply Enablement profiles.
- Maintain operational systems to the highest levels of data accuracy.
- To provide governance and visibility to the Operations Team and work in tandem with the SCM Execution team regarding Schedule, Capacity planning and Inventory Management including Kitting and System Data Accuracy.
- Parameter management to ensure optimum utilised assets.
- Work in and support a Natural Team.
- Provide and analyse forward load and capacity plans to ensure success, including Line of Balance updates.
- Timely Delivery of Parts to Shopfloor and External Customers.
Skill Set:
Candidates must possess a minimum of an HNC or relevant professional qualification (e.g. CPIM, CIPS) and have a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience within Supply Chain. Lesser-qualified candidates with at least 3 years' relevant experience within Supply Chain will also be considered. Knowledge and experience of MRP Planning System is ESSENTIAL. Must demonstrate a basic working knowledge of related Supply Chain processes.
