Regional People Advisor
Location: Hinkley Point C, with regular travel to Plymouth/Devonport

The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Regional People Advisor to join a growing Nuclear & Defence team on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is a varied and fast-paced role, with the successful candidate working across Hinkley Point C and Devonport, Plymouth , providing hands-on People/HR support to managers and employees across the region.
With a strong focus on Employee Relations , you will provide trusted advice and guidance across a range of People matters, while also contributing to wider People initiatives, continuous improvement and the delivery of the regional People Plan.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on a range of HR matters, including Employee Relations, disciplinary and grievance procedures, absence and performance management .
- Support managers with investigations and the fair and consistent resolution of employee concerns.
- Ensure HR policies, procedures and practices are applied consistently and in line with current employment legislation.
- Manage Employee Relations cases from initial stages through to resolution, maintaining accurate documentation throughout.
- Contribute to the regional People Plan and support continuous improvement across People processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in line with GDPR and company standards.
- Support managers with performance management processes, including goal setting, annual reviews and effective feedback.
- Work collaboratively with the wider People Team to deliver initiatives around employee engagement, wellbeing and workplace culture .
- Support People projects focused on employee experience, process efficiency and HR systems.
- Provide support with recruitment and onboarding activities when required, advising managers on best practice and helping to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline People operations and service delivery.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience working as a People/HR Advisor , ideally with at least 2 years' experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation and People processes.
- Proven experience managing and advising on Employee Relations casework from start to finish .
- Strong understanding of disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification, or currently working towards it, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between Hinkley Point C and Plymouth/Devonport .
