Morson Talent are proud to be partnering with GKN Aerospace to recruit for a Skilled Paint Sprayer - Nightshift.
Standard Hours: 37.5 Hours per week on Night shift - 35 per week Core Days whilst Training. Mon-Thurs, M-W Nights 8pm to 6am and Th night 7pm to 4.30am.
Rate: Skilled without Stamp, on nights £24.51 PAYE. Core Days (while training) £18.43. Nights (once fully trained) £25.60. Enhanced overtime rates available.
Responsibilities:
- To operate as a multi-skilled flexible worker to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
- Responsibility for the timely clearance of work phases using the SAP system.
- Adhering to the requirements of GKNAF quality procedures.
- To hold first party inspection approval (M02 status is subject to obtaining an A stamp approval).
- Responsible for general housekeeping within the area.
Requirements:
- A recognised paint spraying indentured apprenticeship and ideally previous manufacturing experience in a factory environment is essential; certificates must be produced upon application.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques to support GKNAF continuous improvement initiatives.
