Traffic Marshall Industry: Food Manufacturing / Factory Environment Location: Kettering (NN15) Contract Type: Umbrella (PAYE) Contract Only Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Traffic Marshall to join a live environment food factory site in Kettering. The role will commence on 2nd November and is expected to last for approximately 42 weeks. The successful candidate will be responsible for general traffic management duties, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians within the site. Additional site-based tasks may also be required to support daily operations. This position requires working in a busy, active environment where safety and communication are paramount. Please note, the client will only accept Umbrella PAYE contractors and will not accept CIS or UTR numbers. Skills: Valid Traffic Marshall / Banksman qualification Strong knowledge of traffic management and site safety procedures Ability to direct and control vehicle and pedestrian movements safely Good communication and interpersonal skills Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic site labouring skills for additional duties Understanding of health and safety regulations Ability to follow site-specific instructions and protocols Competent in using hand signals and two-way radios (if required) Software/Tools: Two-way radios (site communication) Basic site management tools (signage, cones, barriers) Certifications & Standards: Valid Traffic Marshall / Banksman certificate (e.g. NPORS, CPCS, or equivalent) Full PPE compliant with site requirements (high-visibility clothing, safety boots, hard hat) Umbrella PAYE compliant (no CIS or UTR accepted)
