They are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver / VNA Operator to join their team on an ongoing agency contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory levels through stock checking, stock counting and warehouse inventory management, while supporting wider warehouse operations using various forklift equipment, ideally Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) trucks. Key Responsibilities Stock Control & Inventory Management Perform regular stock checks and counts across the warehouse. Reconcile physical stock accurately with warehouse management system records. Investigate and promptly report any stock discrepancies or inventory variances. Ensure stock locations are clearly identified and maintained. Use handheld scanners or mobile devices to record stock movements and inventory data. Support cycle counting and other inventory control activities as required. Maintain a high level of accuracy when handling and recording stock. Forklift Operations Operate Forklift (VNA) equipment safely to access and retrieve stock from racking systems. Move, locate and position materials efficiently and securely within the warehouse. Adhere to all site procedures and Safe Systems of Work when operating material handling equipment (MHE). Ensure stock is stored correctly and warehouse locations remain orderly and accessible. Warehouse Operations Assist with picking, put-away, replenishment, packing and other general warehouse duties. Handle materials carefully to prevent damage. Support loading, unloading and movement of materials as required. Maintain accurate records within the warehouse management system. Health, Safety & Housekeeping Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment at all times. Comply fully with all company health and safety policies and warehouse regulations. Report damaged stock, equipment faults or safety concerns without delay. Collaborate effectively with the wider warehouse team to ensure operational efficiency. Experience & Qualifications Previous experience operating VNA equipment is highly desirable. Possession of a valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence/certification is essential. Experience in stock checking, stock counting or inventory control is advantageous. Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy. Confidence in using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems. Good hand-eye-foot coordination when operating material handling equipment. Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively on a permanent night shift pattern.
