We're recruiting for an experienced HR professional to join a well-established industrial business, supporting a manufacturing site and logistics operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys partnering with operational leaders, coaching managers and leading on complex employee relations while driving continuous improvement across the employee lifecycle.
The Role:
- Reporting into the Senior HR Manager, you'll act as a trusted business partner to site leadership, providing commercially focused HR support across a wide range of people matters.
- Managing the full employee lifecycle across the site.
- Advising and coaching managers on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance.
- Building strong relationships with Trade Union representatives and supporting industrial relations activity.
- Leading organisational change projects, consultations and restructures where required.
- Supporting talent management, succession planning and workforce development.
- Delivering HR initiatives aligned with wider business objectives.
- Using HR data and insights to influence decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Supporting employee engagement, wellbeing and learning & development initiatives.
About You:
We're looking for an experienced HR professional who can confidently operate in a fast-paced operational environment. You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as an HR Manager or HR Business Partner.
- Strong generalist HR experience within manufacturing, engineering, industrial, logistics or a similar operational environment.
- Extensive employee relations experience.
- Experience working within a unionised environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- A sound understanding of UK employment law.
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) is desirable.
