The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineer to join the structural airframe components function within the UK operation. The role will play a key part in developing, improving, and supporting advanced manufacturing processes from concept through to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- NC programming using CATIA V5
- NC program simulation using Vericut
- Creation and maintenance of manufacturing routings
- Development of detailed process instructions
- Supporting shop floor prove-out of new and existing processes
- Design and manufacture of tooling and fixturing in line with business requirements
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for manufacturing process improvements
- Providing cross-functional support to other areas of the business as required
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong problem-solving ability, high work ethic, and professional integrity
- Minimum 5 years' experience programming CATIA V5 for complex aerospace components
- Proven experience designing and implementing manufacturing fixturing
- Hands-on experience machining a range of materials, primarily Aluminium and Titanium
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Clear alignment with values centred around excellence, innovation, and collaboration
Desirable Experience:
- Vericut simulation experience
- Experience operating and/or programming Mazak machine tools
