Morson Edge are recruiting for Aircraft Fitters to support a major military Aerospace programme at RAF Brize Norton , working on the RAF A400M Atlas fleet within a regulated MAA Part 145 environment.
This opportunity would suit experienced Aircraft Fitters, Aircraft Mechanics, Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, Airframe Fitters, Mechanical Fitters or Aircraft Maintenance Engineers with a background in aircraft maintenance, repair and modification.
Working as part of an established engineering team, you'll carry out aircraft maintenance, repairs, modifications and light structural work, ensuring all activities are completed safely and in accordance with approved maintenance documentation and procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out maintenance, repairs and modifications to A400M aircraft
Undertaking light structural and mechanical fitting work
Interpreting aircraft maintenance manuals and technical documentation
Ensuring the safe use of aircraft ground equipment
Completing aircraft maintenance paperwork accurately
Maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention
Supporting continuous improvement and reporting safety occurrences
You'll need an Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Aircraft Engineering , or an equivalent aircraft-related qualification supported by at least three years' recorded experience.
Current Human Factors, EWIS and SFAR 88 certificates are essential, alongside knowledge of aeronautical regulations, UK right to work and the ability to obtain MOD security clearance.
Previous A400M, military aircraft, propeller or wide-body experience would be advantageous. Familiarity with AirN@v, AMOS and MAA Part 145 would also be beneficial.
