Service Now Developer, ideally with current DV or SC Security Clearance is required to support our central government client on implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform to support business processes and improve service delivery.
The ServiceNow Developer will be tasked with customising and optimising ServiceNow applications, building new features, and integrating the platform with internal and external systems.
Essential Experience- Strong ServiceNow scripting skills with the ability to work across multiple ServiceNow modules, leveraging APIs, and delivering automation that enhances efficiency and user experience.
- Capability to design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications, workflows, forms, UI policies, client scripts, and business rules.
- Ability to customise existing modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM.
- Experience of building custom applications using ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, and App Engine.
- Ability to develop and maintain client-side (JavaScript, GlideForm) and server-side (GlideRecord, GlideSystem) scripts.
- Experience of implementing automation using flows, scripting, orchestration, and integration tools.
- Experience of developing integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, Integration Hub.
- Hands-on experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, and ServiceNow API usage.
- Experience with workflow development, UI customisation, Flow Designer, and App Engine.
- Understanding of ServiceNow data models, ACLs, roles, and platform security.
- Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and common authentication frameworks (OAuth, Basic Auth).
- Current DV Security Clearance or SC Security Clearance or have the ability to undergo security clearance.
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS in ITSM/ITOM/others).
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management best practices.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery.
- Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and source control (Git, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
6 month contract with scope to extend up to 24 months. Hybrid working with 3 days per week on site at Milton Keynes. Inside IR35 £580.00 PER DAY.
