Caterpillar is seeking motivated and reliable Production Operatives to join its manufacturing team in Larne. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a world-class manufacturing environment, contributing to the production and assembly of generator sets while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency. Successful candidates will work across various production areas and play an important role in supporting Caterpillar's commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanically preparing substrates to the required standard using power tools.
- Cleaning and preparing surfaces in accordance with specifications.
- Stripe coating, cutting in and masking components prior to painting.
- Assembling sub-assemblies, optional components and complete generator sets.
- Working from engineering drawings, prints and standard work instructions to manufacture and assemble components.
- Operating across various production areas.
