A leading UK airline operating from London City Airport is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to lead its line maintenance team on a modern Embraer E190 fleet. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-frequency airport environment with short runways and steep approaches, where leadership, precision, and teamwork are key.
What You'll Do
- Lead a skilled team of Licensed Engineers to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient maintenance
- Coordinate scheduled and reactive maintenance, defect rectification, and AOG recovery
- Promote operational excellence through clear communication and hands-on leadership
- Foster a positive team culture focused on reliability, accountability, and continuous improvement
What You'll Bring
- CAA Part-66 Category B1 or B1/B2 licence with minimum 5 years certification experience
- At least 1 current aircraft type authorisation
- Embraer 190 type rating desirable (type training provided if required)
- Valid full UK driving licence (or equivalent)
- Ability to hold airport restricted zone access and airside driving permit
- Proven experience leading engineering teams in a dynamic line maintenance environment
- Adaptable, forward-thinking, and committed to mentoring and developing team members
