Morson Edge are currently working with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy to recruit experienced Architects, Project Architects, Senior Architects, Technologists, Technicians and Designers across their Aviation, Energy and Rail teams. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative design environment delivering high-profile national infrastructure projects across a diverse portfolio.
The role offers the chance to work across RIBA Stages 0–4, contributing to both early-stage concept development and detailed technical delivery, with opportunities to lead work packages and engage with key project stakeholders.
Role Overview
You will support the design and delivery of complex infrastructure projects within Aviation, Energy or Rail sectors, ensuring design quality, regulatory compliance and effective coordination within large multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise will contribute to innovative, functional and technically robust design solutions across nationally significant programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver design work across RIBA Stages 0–4, from concept through detailed design
- Lead and coordinate defined work packages
- Contribute to front-end strategy and technical delivery
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with infrastructure, safety and regulatory standards
- Support programme deadlines through a proactive, solution-focused approach
- Take ownership of packages and manage stakeholder coordination where required
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering projects across RIBA Stages 0–4
- Experience within Aviation, Energy or Rail infrastructure environments
- Ability to lead work packages and coordinate design inputs
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within multidisciplinary consultancy environments
- Must be eligible to obtain SC clearance
Software Requirements:
- Revit experience – required for Aviation and Energy teams
- MicroStation experience – required for Rail team
Desirable
- Experience on nationally significant or complex infrastructure schemes
- Experience managing junior team members
- Previous exposure to large, regulated project environments
