We are recruiting a Senior Project Manager within the savings, investments, and protection products financial services sector, responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of high-priority and complex change and transformation initiatives within a regulated environment. This role sits within a central Project Manager pool in a Change Management function and will see you deployed across a range of strategic transformation programmes depending on business priorities.

The successful candidate will take full ownership of project delivery, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. You will lead the planning, mobilisation, and execution of projects, developing key artefacts such as scope documents, delivery plans, RAID logs, financial tracking, and progress reporting.

A core focus of the role is driving effective change management and transformation delivery, ensuring business readiness, stakeholder alignment, and successful adoption of new ways of working. You will engage extensively with senior stakeholders, including C-suite and executive leadership, to manage expectations, communicate progress, and ensure alignment on strategic objectives, benefits, and operating model changes.

Strong stakeholder management is essential, particularly in navigating complex organisational environments and ensuring clarity and buy-in across multiple business areas. The role also involves managing third-party suppliers and partners where required, ensuring their deliverables are aligned to overall project objectives and integrated effectively into the wider transformation plan.

You will maintain strong control over budgets, business cases, dependencies, risks, and issues, ensuring robust governance and clear escalation where necessary. In addition, you will contribute to portfolio-level reporting and continuous improvement of change delivery practices across the function.

We are looking for a highly experienced project leader with a proven track record of delivering complex transformation and change programmes in regulated financial services environments. Strong knowledge of project and programme management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, or MSP is essential, along with the ability to flex approach depending on the nature of the transformation.

Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills are critical, particularly in engaging senior stakeholders and driving alignment across business functions. The ideal candidate will also have experience mentoring or line managing other project managers, supporting capability development and strengthening delivery maturity across the wider team.
