Head of Enterprise Resilience to lead its enterprise resilience strategy..

Reporting directly into the COO, this leadership role is responsible for protecting critical business services, managing enterprise risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and strengthening organisational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the organisation's enterprise resilience strategy across cyber security, operational resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery, and supplier governance.
  • Oversee cyber risk management, information security policies, security awareness, incident response, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead operational resilience initiatives, including resilience frameworks, business service mapping, scenario testing, crisis management, and business continuity planning.
  • Establish and enhance supplier governance and outsourcing frameworks, ensuring effective onboarding, performance monitoring, risk management, and value from third-party relationships.
  • Report cyber, resilience, and supplier risks to executive leadership and governance committees.
  • Work closely with risk, compliance, IT and business leaders to embed a strong culture of resilience and risk awareness.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a specialist resilience team while driving continuous improvement across governance, controls and regulatory readiness.

About You

  • Extensive leadership experience in cyber security, operational resilience, enterprise risk or information security within a regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks relating to operational resilience, cyber risk and third-party governance.
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to develop enterprise-wide resilience strategies and lead cross-functional programmes.
  • Strong people leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Professional security or risk qualifications (e. g. CISM) and postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
