A leading financial services organisation is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on AI & Automation Manager to drive the automation of business functions across its global operations. This is a fully remote, 12-month contract opportunity, ideal for a technical AI leader who will take ownership of end-to-end automation initiatives, from initial ideation through to design, build, testing, and production release.
The successful candidate will combine deep technical expertise in Automation Anywhere and Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power BI and Power Automate, with strong solution architecture capabilities and the confidence to engage directly with senior business stakeholders. The role will focus on identifying automation opportunities, designing and deploying scalable automation solutions, optimising existing processes for performance and reliability, and ensuring best practices across coding, documentation, security, and compliance.
You will collaborate with business analysts, process owners, and technical teams, facilitate workshops to translate business requirements into technical solutions, mentor junior developers, and stay at the forefront of emerging RPA and AI technologies to continuously enhance automation capabilities.
Essentials of the Role:- Proven hands-on expertise with Automation Anywhere
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and Power BI
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver end-to-end automation solutions
- Experience integrating automation with Microsoft 365 applications and third-party systems
- Experience with document automation, OCR, and intelligent data processing
- Ability to engage with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong solution design and architecture mindset
- Experience working within Agile or Scrum delivery environments
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, global environment
- Availability to commit to a 12-month contract outside IR35
