Weβre looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join a dynamic technology delivery function. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with business teams to deliver critical technology change programmes, including those driven by new regulatory and operational requirements.
Youβll play a key role in shaping and delivering customer-facing technology solutions, taking full ownership across the delivery lifecycle β from initiation and design through build, deployment and implementation.
NB the ideal candidate will live local to Leeds & Bradford. They will have a track record of working with national retail organisations managing the delivery of software and digital products. You will also have experience in discovery, sizing and scoping situations as this project is at the very early stages.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Leading the delivery of technology improvements across store systems, loyalty platforms and customer propositions, spanning both existing and new channels.
- Partnering with business stakeholders to understand priorities and translate them into clear outcomes, leading delivery teams through all phases of the delivery lifecycle.
- Managing a third-party delivery partner, including capacity planning, prioritisation and governance of delivery processes.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with business teams, senior stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Ensuring high-quality, stable solutions are delivered into live service, with a strong focus on operational resilience.
- Proven experience in an IT Project Manager (or similar) role, with end-to-end delivery experience.
- Background in retail or customer-focused technology environments (preferred).
- Strong ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
- Confident, independent self-starter able to manage priorities in a complex organisation.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management capability, including planning, control, risk and issue management across the delivery lifecycle.
- Experience managing third-party and offshore delivery resources.
- Ability to work under pressure, juggle multiple workstreams and maintain attention to detail.
- A positive, collaborative and solutions-focused mindset.
- Hands-on experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
