Join a market-leading contracting group made up of five closely connected businesses, delivering integrated and innovative solutions across a large organisation employing thousands of people across the UK. We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Integration Developer to play a key role in the design, development and delivery of enterprise integration solutions using the Microsoft Azure Integration Services platform.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on developer with strong experience building secure, scalable and resilient integrations who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and contributing to the evolution of a modern cloud integration capability. Based at our client's Hertfordshire office on a permanent, full‑time basis, you will be responsible for designing, developing and supporting Azure‑based integration solutions that connect business‑critical applications, third‑party platforms and enterprise systems.
Working closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, QA teams and business stakeholders, you will deliver high‑quality integrations, APIs and cloud‑native services that support operational efficiency and digital transformation across the organisation. You will work across a modern Azure environment, developing integration solutions using Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management, Event Grid, Event Hubs, Key Vault, Azure Storage and Azure Data Factory, alongside C# and .NET where appropriate.
You will design RESTful APIs, build event‑driven and serverless architectures, implement secure messaging solutions and contribute to enterprise integration patterns that enable reliable communication between internal and external systems. As a senior member of the development team, you will contribute to solution architecture, establish development standards, support CI/CD automation, promote best practices and mentor junior developers while ensuring solutions are secure, maintainable and aligned with business requirements.
The successful candidate will have proven experience developing enterprise integration solutions using Microsoft Azure Integration Services, with strong expertise in Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management and Service Bus. You will have experience delivering API‑led integration, workflow automation, system‑to‑system integration and event‑driven architectures within enterprise environments.
A strong understanding of Azure networking, authentication and security, including Azure AD, Managed Identities, Key Vault and OAuth, is essential, together with experience using Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Bicep, ARM Templates or Terraform. You will also have experience working with Git, Azure DevOps or GitHub, implementing CI/CD pipelines and applying DevOps principles throughout the software development lifecycle.
Experience integrating ERP, finance, HR or operational business systems would be advantageous, along with knowledge of Azure monitoring and observability tools such as Application Insights and Azure Monitor. You will be an effective communicator who enjoys collaborating across technical and business teams, with the ability to translate complex integration requirements into practical, scalable solutions. A proactive approach, strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement will be key to your success.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward‑thinking organisation investing in modern cloud technologies, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering enterprise integration solutions that support critical business operations and major infrastructure projects across the UK.
